Description Jaroslav Škarvada 2019-10-10 12:32:46 UTC
Description of problem:
Tuned allows loading of multiple profiles, but doesn't allow include of multiple profiles.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tuned-2.12.0-3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new profile, e.g. profile3 with
[main]
include=profile1;profile2
2. Activate such profile
3.

Actual results:
Error, settings from profile1 and profile2 (and possibly profile3) are not applied.

Expected results:
Settings from all profiles are applied, conflicting settings are overridden by the latest variant (i.e. if there are conflicting settings in profile1 and profile2, settings from profile2 will be used)

Additional info:

Comment 1 Jaroslav Škarvada 2019-10-10 12:35:14 UTC
It's already in upstream:
https://github.com/redhat-performance/tuned/commit/feb6e8b6f4fd3c1b1595fc52c8b0868a2460a819

Comment 2 Jaroslav Škarvada 2019-10-10 12:36:59 UTC
It will be handled by rebase.

Test is already in the TCMS:
TC#0604048 - /CoreOS/tuned/Regression/multiple-include
