Description Ling Li 2019-10-17 07:55:14 UTC
Please build python-prompt_toolkit for EPEL-8, which is a prerequisite for ipython (Bug 1758271). Since ipython stopped supporting Python 2.7, I think it's fine to just package the python3 part.

Comment 1 Carl George 🤠 2019-10-17 17:50:55 UTC
We renamed this source package to python-prompt-toolkit. I tried changing the component on this bug but it keeps redirecting me to confirm the component over and over. Please close this bug and open a new one against the python-prompt-toolkit component (it may not exist for the Fedora EPEL product yet, in which case just select Fedora as the product). I've already requested the epel8 branch for python-prompt-toolkit and will begin the work as soon as I'm able.
