Description Carlos O'Donell 2019-10-22 13:41:26 UTC
We need to backport this to disallow invalid object loading.

commit 2c75b545de6fe3c44138799c68217a94bc669a88
Author: Florian Weimer <fweimer>
Date: Tue Jun 18 16:42:10 2019 +0200

elf: Refuse to dlopen PIE objects [BZ #24323]

Another executable has already been mapped, so the dynamic linker
cannot perform relocations correctly for the second executable.

Please backport patch to Fedora (if required):
Fedora 31
Fedora 30
Fedora 29

Comment 3 Sergey Kolosov 2020-02-20 14:01:36 UTC
Verified with glibc elf/tst-dlopen-pie test case.
