Description rvanderp 2019-11-12 20:27:37 UTC
Document URL: https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.2/networking/multiple-networks/configuring-host-device.html

Section Number and Name:

Describe the issue:
The `Configuring a host-device network` section does not provide an example or details on how to configure the network(i.e. IP address, subnet mask, etc...). Other network types such as bridge, macvlan, and ipvlan do, however.

Suggestions for improvement:
Providing example demonstrating the configuration of the network for host-devices.

I haven't validated it, but... It should: https://github.com/containernetworking/plugins/tree/master/plugins/main/host-device#overview

...I do believe this would be a less frequently used feature. However, it should work out of the box.
