Use APIv4 is not marked by default when creating a new compute resource in ovirt. It should be default.

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite 6 since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/28268 has been resolved.

Verified with Sat 6.8 snap 5.0, APIv4 is now default in both WebUI and Hammer.
