Description of problem:

I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/etc/gconf/schemas/gdict.schemas"
Failed to open `/etc/gconf/schemas/gdict.schemas': No such file or directory

Sure enough, it's not there.

1. install package
2.

Not sure when the schema first fell out of the package.

seems to be fixed in rawhide.

The version you reported IS the rawhide version.

The schema file got renamed to gnome-dictionary.schema, and that is what the
current package installs.
