Description Marian Rehak 2019-11-21 10:40:56 UTC
A memory leak in the fastrpc_dma_buf_attach() function in drivers/misc/fastrpc.c in the Linux kernel before 5.3.9 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering dma_get_sgtable() failures.

Comment 1 Marian Rehak 2019-11-21 10:42:07 UTC
Created kernel tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 1774961]

Comment 2 Justin M. Forbes 2019-11-21 15:38:38 UTC
This was fixed for Fedora in the 5.3.9 stabler kernel updates.
