As a Satellite user, it should not be expected to learn/know ERB syntax to create a custom report or kickstart file. WebUI should provide functionality to graphically select available global methods and classes with values.

Creating a template should share usability with that of Jobs and Create Host. A builder should be implemented with options defined by the scope of the targets selected to build a report.
