*** Bug 1731409 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** JFYI I am planning on retiring this package on Monday, 2020-01-06, if not already done by then. Request a FESCo exception by then (or report back the package is no longer depending on Python 2) if you wish to stop the procedure. Thanks The package is now retired. If you need help getting the package back once it supports Python 3, feel free to reach out to me directly. Please note that someone has made a version (though not, as far as I know, an rpm) for python3, and that the original author is planning, eventually, to redo it for python3. See the getmail mailing list discussion, starting from 2020-08-22, titled getmail and Fedora 32. For those in a hurry, the version that works with python3, though not approved by getmail's creator is here. http://getmail6.org/ For what it's worth, FreeBSD has a package for this getmail6, and I think there is an AUR ArchLinux package as well. |
