Created attachment 1640312 [details]
Screenshot of the plater window

Description of problem:
Some parts of the Plater window in pronterface are obscured by the print area preview

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
printrun-2.0.0-0.10.rc5.fc31.x86_64
pronterface-2.0.0-0.10.rc5.fc31.noarch

How reproducible:
100 %

Steps to Reproduce:
1. # yum -y install pronterface
2. $ pronterface
3. Select Edit -> Plater in the main menu

Actual results:
The "failed to load image from 'plater.png'" pop-up appears,
and the plater window has some of the buttons obscured by the print area preview (see the attached screenshot).

Expected results:
Slick and nice GUI without visual glitches :-)

Additional info:
The error message above can be fixed by "yum -y install plater" - maybe pronterface package should depend on plater?

Comment 1 Miro Hrončok 2019-11-28 09:12:48 UTC
Fixing the error message is easy. The "some parts of the Plater window in pronterface are obscured by the print area preview" is harder and I recommend to file that issue upstream: https://github.com/kliment/Printrun/issues/new

I won't be able to look into the second thing before next year.

Comment 2 Jan "Yenya" Kasprzak 2019-11-28 09:22:44 UTC
OK, reported also upstream as https://github.com/kliment/Printrun/issues/1028

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2019-11-28 09:44:18 UTC
Thanks. I'll submit an update for the plater.png thing and let it close this bugzilla. I'm watching the upstream issue for the other problem.
