Just FYI : This can be seen with RHV too .It's not OSP specific .

Comment 5 Fabien Dupont 2019-12-02 16:25:54 UTC
Some results of my investigations.

Global issues with nothing to do with code changes:

- The VMware hosts credentials were not configured, so the migration failed. I added the credentials and we go a little further.
- The conversion host has a more recent version of v2v-conversion-host-wrapper than shipped in OSP instance: 1.16.0-1.el7ev and it's know to have issues. Could you remind me why you're using this version ?

That said, it seems that there is an issue with error handling and migration task cancellation. Looking into it to see if some PRs might be missing.

Hi Fabien ,
we tested this with current version of wrapper and proper Vmware credentials too but migration was still stuck and showed 'Stalled' Status.

Shveta. This appliance is 5.11.1, not 5.11.0 as specified in Version field.

It seems the issue is fixed in version 5.11.1.2

verified in version 5.11.1.2
