Description Artem 2019-12-09 13:28:26 UTC
Description of problem:
New 5.4.2 kernel which is on testing now have enormous size.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-5.4.2-300.fc31.src.rpm

How reproducible:
Install kernel from Koji how it described there
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2019-12-09_Kernel_5.4_Test_Week

Actual results:
kernel-devel = 1.06 GB
kernel-modules-extra > 1 GB

Expected results:
They should be around ~70 MB

Additional info:
This is intentional for testing purposes or this could be relating somehow to recent bug with unstripped binaries?

Comment 1 Artem 2020-01-06 05:10:51 UTC
New 5.4.7 kernel already pushed in Stable repos so i think we can close this now.
