In Red Hat Openstack Platform 16.0, a deployment enhancement eases configuring OVS-DPDK by automatically deriving the Orchestration service (heat) parameters required for the compute node on which OVS-DPDK is deployed. The Workflow service (mistral) has been enhanced to read heat templates and introspection data to automatically derive the necessary values for the heat parameters, NovaComputeCpuDedicatedSet and NovaComputeCpuSharedSet.

Hi Jaganathan,

Thank you for your review of the Doc Text content.

How is this second draft?

In Red Hat Openstack Platform 16.0, a deployment enhancement eases
configuring OVS-DPDK by automatically deriving the Orchestration service
(heat) parameters required for the compute node on which OVS-DPDK is
deployed. The Workflow service (mistral) has been enhanced to read heat
templates and introspection data to automatically derive the necessary values
for the heat parameters, NovaComputeCpuDedicatedSet and
   NovaComputeCpuSharedSet.

Thanks,
--Greg

@jagan it is still on new, but it is VERIFIED
Verified it on:
core_puddle_version
RHOS-16.1-RHEL-8-20200701.n.0

Have the following:
{'ComputeOvsDpdkSriovParameters': {'OvsPmdCoreList': '11,18,31,38', 'OvsDpdkCoreList': '0-1,20-21',
 'OvsDpdkSocketMemory': '3072,1024', 'NeutronPhysnetNUMANodesMapping': {'dpdk-mgmt': [0]}, 'NeutronTunnelNUMANodes': [0], 'NovaComputeCpuDedicated

B hugepagesz=1G hugepages=126 intel_iommu=on iommu=pt isolcpus=2-19,22-39', 'IsolCpusList': '2-19,22-39'}}}}

Calculated,
