Did the build ever get done? FEDORA-EPEL-2020-6da31c26cf has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 8. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2020-6da31c26cf sox-14.4.2.0-29.el8 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 8 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2020-6da31c26cf sox-14.4.2.0-29.el8 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 8 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. Hello. Thanks for that. I have verified that sox package is now available in EPEL 8, properly installs on CentOS 8 and executes successfully. Would it be possible to do the same for EPEL 7 + CentOS 7 ? Regards. Hello, sox is included in RHEL 7 and thus it cannot be in EPEL 7 simultaneously. If you need the most recent version for CentOS 7, I can build it and provide it via Fedora COPR. Hi Jiri. Thanks for your feedback. Given your explanation about sox in CentOS 7, I think the current state and version works perfectly for me, then providing it via Fedora COPR is not really needed. Closing this. Best regards. |
