Description Emil Grzejdziak 2020-01-07 10:05:26 UTC
Description of problem:
After performing update("sudo dnf update", performed somewhere near 01.01.2020) any svn command no longer interfaces with kwallet for saving of passwords. Instead, an error is printed:
Subversion(<pid>)/kdeui (Wallet): Couldn't start kwalletd: "Could not find service 'kwalletd.desktop'."

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
subversion-kde.x86_64 1.12.2-1.fc30

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. svn up
2. enter password
3. get error

Actual results:
Subversion(<pid>)/kdeui (Wallet): Couldn't start kwalletd: "Could not find service 'kwalletd.desktop'."

Expected results:
Once the password has been entered correctly, it should be saved in the wallet and user should not be prompted again.

Sorry but I am not sure what to do exactly.
Am I supposed to test https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-389c044dc4 on my F30?

Comment 4 Joe Orton 2020-01-13 16:25:33 UTC
I pushed https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-dc93756dc3 for Fedora 30 - please wait a day or so and it will be available in updates-testing. Follow bug 1768693 for further notifications.
