Does the user also have view_hosts and view_errata permissions? If not, add them too. Yes, We applied org admin and viewer roles but none of them worked. But this patch resolved the issue https://github.com/Katello/katello/pull/8506/commits/208509dcea4a3fabdaa02f8a4d6eb16e8c80af0e Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite 6 since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/28715 has been resolved. Tested with Sat 6.8 Snap 8 using the reproducer from the initial report. It was necessary to add the "View hosts" role as mentioned in the comment #3. An applicable errata report was successfully generated using the non-admin user, and correctly filled with data. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (Important: Satellite 6.8 release), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2020:4366 |
