Description Sayan Das 2020-01-10 14:56:28 UTC
Description of problem:
The "Verify SSL" checkbox during "Repo Discovery" is not working properly on Satellite 6.6

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.6.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to Content --> Products --> click on "Repo Discovery"

2. Set the Repository type "Yum Repositories"

3. Give any upstream URL to discover and click on Discover.

4. Select the discovered repository and click on "Create Selected".

5. Select the product or create a product.

6. Un-check the box for "Verify SSL"

7. Provide the Repository name and click on "Run Repository Creation".

Actual results:
Once the repository has been created, check back on the newly created repository and it will show that "Verify SSL" is set to "Yes", even though we had unchecked the box for the same earlier.

Expected results:
Expect to have the "Verify SSL" set to False, as the same was unselected.

Additional info:
NA

Upon review of our valid but aging backlog the Satellite Team has concluded that this Bugzilla does not meet the criteria for a resolution in the near term, and are planning to close in a month. This message may be a repeat of a previous update and the bug is again being considered to be closed. If you have any concerns about this, please contact your Red Hat Account team. Thank you.

Thank you for your interest in Red Hat Satellite. We have evaluated this request, and while we recognize that it is a valid request, we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. This is due to other priorities for the product, and not a reflection on the request itself. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this feel free to contact your Red Hat Account Team. Thank you.
