It's tag as Bugzilla/Upstream Status/Build Info. Adding Depends: 1791030 in patches(cover letter is enough) for 1791024 should help to keep track of this. Anyway please feel free to contact me if you see some problem. Thank you (In reply to Frantisek Hrbata from comment #5) > (In reply to Manish Chopra (Marvell) from comment #4) > > Hi Frantisek, > > > > BZ(1791024) will need the new qed firmware 8.42.2.0 and DPDK drivers will > > required the firmware 8.40.33.0 on RHEL8.3 > > can you please make sure the above mentioned commits form linux-firmware.git > > gets pulled in for rhel8.3 > > > > Thanks, > > Manish > > Hi Manish, > > I will keep an eye on it, but maybe it would not be a bad idea to include a > Depends tag in the cover letter when qed driver updates are posted for bug > 1791024. Maybe we can move the bug 1791024 to POST then. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (linux-firmware bug fix and enhancement update), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below.
