Description Pete Rowley 2006-01-27 22:35:57 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050922 Fedora/1.0.7-1.1.fc4 Firefox/1.0.7

Description of problem:
The advanced property error appears to sort on attribute type name, all very well, except that it also uses friendly names for some attributes but the friendly names are not accounted for in the sort. The result is a sorted list with sorting errors (when based on what the user actually sees).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.examine an entry in the advanced property editor
2.
3.

Actual Results: A poorly sorted list e.g. Last name appears where sn would go not Last name

Expected Results: A sorted list e.g. Last name should appear in the same place that a similarly named attribute type

Fix Description: Just call the showAllAttributes method at the end of the ctor. This method will sort the list in the correct order.

Verified on RHEL5 DS 8.1

Advanced properties editor sorts all attributes in alphabetical order whether friendly names or actual attribute names are displayed.
