Description of problem:
msgpack on EPEL7 is blocked to the release 1.4.1
Please, update msgpack to a recent release if possible.

That would be awesome! I currently don't have time to update EPEL packages.
By the way, someone had already taken steps to adopt the package in EPEL 8, though it didn't go well (see bug 1773835).

Antonio, I've added you as a committer a while ago, so you should be ready to update the package in EPEL.
