Bug 179678

George Williams notes that this is probably a remnant of a bug in a very old
fontforge version. Regenerating said fonts from their fontforge sources should
fix this.

BTW, have you given any though to shipping TTF files iso. Type1 files for these
fonts? Then Pango and freetype would be able to do kerning and ligature handling
out of the box.

there is also a bogus T + M -> trademark-symbol ligature is the Century
Schoolbook AFMs.

This report targets the FC3 or FC4 products, which have now been EOL'd.

Could you please check that it still applies to a current Fedora release, and
either update the target product or close it ?

The problem is still there. You can simply grep the AFM to check.

Fix for the AFM file.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 8 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 8.  It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained.  At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 
'version' of '8'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' 
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 8's end of life.
