Created squid tracking bugs for this issue: Affects: fedora-all [bug 1798554] Statement: Although the squid packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 through 8 are affected, they are compiled with FORTIFY_SOURCE, which in this case limits the impact of the buffer overflow to an application termination. This only affects deployments acting as reverse proxy with a http_port 'accel' or 'vhost' (squid 2.x and 3.x) or http_port 'accel' configuration (squid 4.x). This issue has been addressed in the following products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Via RHSA-2020:4082 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2020:4082 This bug is now closed. Further updates for individual products will be reflected on the CVE page(s): https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/cve-2020-8450 This issue has been addressed in the following products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 Via RHSA-2020:4743 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2020:4743 |
