quassel-irssi failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f32

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=41321083

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_32_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix quassel-irssi at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
quassel-irssi will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 33,
quassel-irssi will be retired, if it still fails to build.

So... I could fix this, but quassel-irssi is basically unmaintained upstream and barely works with quassel 0.13 anyway.

https://github.com/phhusson/quassel-irssi/issues/36

There's evidently early work on a weechat plugin (which would provide command line access to quassel). I think, though, it's best to retire quassel-irssi and its dependency in the mean time.

Comment 5 Ben Rosser 2020-02-07 20:03:35 UTC
I've retired quassel-irssi (and quasselc, its dependent and also dead library). I guess this ticket should be closed as WONTFIX.
