Description Samuel Padgett 2020-02-07 17:52:14 UTC
Description of problem:

There appear to be two problems here:

1. The chart failed to install with this error

{"error":"Failed to install helm chart: mkdir /.cache: permission denied"}null

2. The "null" at the end of the HTTP response caused a JSON parse error, masking the server error message

JSON.parse: unexpected non-whitespace character after JSON data at line 1 column 75 of the JSON data

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Developer perspective
2. Click Add
3. Select project if necessary
4. Select From Catalog
5. Filter for the Helm Chart
6. Select the chart and click Install
7. Enter a name
8. Click Install

Actual results:

JSON parse error

Expected results:

The chart is installed
