Description of problem:
Currently there are two options to disable rules on cloud.redhat.com
1.Applicable for All Insights registered system :
https://cloud.redhat.com/insights/rules -> search for : Decreased stability and/or performance due to filesystem over 95% capacity -> Actions [right hand upper corner] -> Disable Rule.
2.For a particular system:
- Navigate to the rule results - https://cloud.redhat.com/insights/rules/sat_low_disk_space_issue%7CSAT_FILESYSTEM_CAPACITY
- Select the hosts you want to disable this for my marking the check boxes next to them
- Click the 3 vertical dots next to the "remediate" button and select "Disable rule for selected systems""
Provide a justification and select save
- These hosts will no longer appear in the primary results. There is a notice that is shown that this is disabled for some hosts, just for awareness & if they ever choose to re-enable it for the hosts.
However,
These options are not helpful if I have Red Hat Satellite deployed in my environment.
-'Disabling rule results for individual hosts' feature not available on the satellite server.
- Disabling rules on the portal do not reflect on Satellite server.
