Patch which allows conditional build of Postgres table support
This patch adds conditional support to the Postfix RPM enabling Postgres table
lookup support. It's just a simple copy of the existing code adding MySQL
support.
The obvious next step would be to enable MySQL and/or PostgreSQL support by
default, though that could be a long ugly dependency chain that folks don't
want to endure.
Seems like a reasonable feature request unless there are serious known issues. Thomas, any comments? This report targets the FC3 or FC4 products, which have now been EOL'd. Could you please check that it still applies to a current Fedora release, and either update the target product or close it ? Thanks. Patch works for me on Fedora 7 Test 1, using RPM postfix-2.3.6-1 from Rawhide. postfix-2.4.3-2.fc7 has been pushed to the Fedora 7 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
