You can now attach multiple disks to the VM on Azure Compute Resource while creating it through Host form. The maximum number of disks to be attached depends on the VM size selected as suggested here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/sizes-general?toc=/azure/virtual-machines/linux/toc.json&bc=/azure/virtual-machines/linux/breadcrumb/toc.json[General purpose virtual machine sizes].

Based on this selection, you can create multiple disks of varying sizes and disk caching options for the VM.

Verified. Version Tested: Satellite-6.8.0 Snap 9.0 Steps/Observation: Able to add additional disk during VM create Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
