Cause: Silence an alert from Monitoring -> Alerts -> choose one firing alert -> click kebab -> choose Silence Alert -> Create
Consequence: After Alert is changed to Silenced state, check Home -> Overview -> Status card and Notification Drawer, the silenced alert are still shown
Fix: Updated Dashboard and Notification Drawer to not show Silenced Alerts
Result: After Alert is changed to Silenced state, check Home -> Overview -> Status card and Notification Drawer, the silenced alert are not shown on page any more

create silence for KubePodNotReady 1. check the notification drawer has the alerts KubeDeploymentReplicasMismatch 2. create the silence for the alert 3. then check the notification drawer again The alert will not show any more 4.4.0-0.nightly-2020-03-08-180026 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
