Description Direct Docs Feedback 2020-03-10 15:15:29 UTC
Are "static" and "DHCP" really the only supported IPAM config methods for macvlan? Is there any way to use 'host-local' (like is done in the SR-IOV examples) or another way to allocate an address from a pool of available addresses?

In OCP 4.5, the Whereabouts[0] CNI plug-in is introduced. It provides another approach for IP address allocation. Prior to 4.5, DHCP and static are the supported methods for IP address allocation.

Thanks!
