Richard, are you able to verify BitLocker detection in libblkid if we will add it to RHEL-8.3? Unfortunately, I have no test image for it in the upstream tree... Yes I have a test image and can verify the bug for you. For my own reference here's how: $ wget http://oirase.annexia.org/windows-bitlocker.qcow2.xz $ unxz windows-bitlocker.qcow2.xz With the new libblkid installed on the host: $ guestfish --ro -a windows-bitlocker.qcow2 ><fs> run ><fs> list-partitions /dev/sda1 ><fs> vfs-type /dev/sda1 BitLocker The last command will print something else (I think "unknown") if Bitlocker support is not working. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (util-linux bug fix and enhancement update), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2020:4575 |
