Description Miroslav Suchý 2020-03-13 17:26:22 UTC
During upgrade from F31 to 32 I got:

Problém 3: package gradle-4.4.1-4.fc30.noarch requires mvn(org.sonatype.pmaven:pmaven-common), but none of the providers can be installed
  - tesla-polyglot-common-0.2.1-4.fc31.noarch does not belong to a distupgrade repository
  - problem with installed package gradle-4.4.1-4.fc30.noarch

gradle seems to be retired.

Comment 1 Miroslav Suchý 2020-03-13 17:27:21 UTC
edit: gradle is orphaned.

Comment 2 Miro Hrončok 2020-03-13 20:00:03 UTC
Orphaned and retired.

Comment 3 Emil 2020-03-17 09:56:20 UTC
Fedora 31

Same here since few weeks. What should I do?

Problem: package gradle-4.4.1-4.fc30.noarch requires tesla-polyglot-groovy, but none of the providers can be installed
  - package gradle-4.4.1-4.fc30.noarch requires mvn(org.sonatype.pmaven:pmaven-groovy), but none of the providers can be installed
  - package takari-polyglot-common-0.4.4-5.fc31.noarch obsoletes tesla-polyglot-groovy < 0.4.4-3 provided by tesla-polyglot-groovy-0.2.1-4.fc31.noarch
  - cannot install the best update candidate for package tesla-polyglot-common-0.2.1-4.fc31.noarch
  - problem with installed package gradle-4.4.1-4.fc30.noarch

Comment 4 Miro Hrončok 2020-03-17 10:03:13 UTC
Send a pull request to https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fedora-obsolete-packages

Or wait for somebody to do this.

Or dnf remove gradle before the upgrade.

Comment 5 Emil 2020-03-17 10:21:15 UTC
I did

sudo rpm -e --nodeps gradle

and installed gradle from SDKMan ;) now it's working.
