Description Hans de Goede 2020-03-18 17:25:50 UTC
koules is still build a svgalib backend / plugin, packaged separately as koules-svgalib.

svgalib is very old and has not been maintained upstream for more then 10 years and I believe that (almost?) no one is using it. So the plan is to remove svgalib from the distribution starting with Fedora 33.

Can you please remove the -svgalib subpackage (and any buildtime dependencies) from koules?

Please do not forget to add an Obsoletes for the -svgalib subpackage to the main package to make sure the -svgalib subpackage gets removed on upgrades.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.
