Hi, I was surprised to find out that we're still shipping telnetd in the distro (telnet-server).  I really don't think we should be, given we ship openssh-server already.  Let's stop that.

If it would be helpful to you, I'm happy to submit a patch to accomplish this.  Thanks!

We still ship telnetd because we ship it in RHEL as well.
