I am not sure this will be an easy task because python-mock (a component) is already in RHEL 8 (python2-mock RPM in python27 module). Is it possible to have the same component/SRPM in RHEL and EPEL if they produce different RPMs?

To answer my own question: It's not. We have to create a new component/package python3-mock just for epel8. And because of that, we don't need assistance from python-mock Fedora maintainer…

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.
