should be fixed upstream: master: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/commit/44fed3c3404efcb2a9db9e4a2ad6b87c3b9a44d8 nm-1-22: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/commit/cdfb762880ff18c4581269bfaee7d4aa56a7ac50 nm-1-20: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/commit/56c653eca53a8ece8d52c1b90a1cf15352a74b81 nm-1-18: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/commit/e905eb870ffed78040c804c80bb84be5f2d128fc (thus, affecting all RHEL 8 and recent RHEL-7). It is relatively severe, as it can lead to a crash, because we afterwards try to log a warning about the assertion failure (which leads to a NULL pointer dereference). On the other hand, it seems not not happen that easily, since it wasn't reported before. FAF system has not seen it since 2020-03-22 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (NetworkManager bug fix and enhancement update), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2020:4499 |
