normal boot log. right one this time.
If I build with CONFIG_ACPI_DEBUG, it hangs at: ACPI: Subsystem revision 20060127 evgpeblk-0941 [06] ev_create_gpe_block : GPE 00 to 1F [ _GPE] 4 regs on int 0x9 From Bill: So, some testing of various combinations: Hypervisor variants: A = stock one in 1.1955 B = self-built from 1.1955 sources. gcc-4.x C = self-built from 1.1955 sources. gcc32 A = FAIL B = PASS C = PASS (note that 'PASS' in this case boots userland with a an interrupt screaming at a rate of ~3 million interrupts per minute.) Still hangs on 2009.4.2, still easily worked around with acpi=off. Hmm -- what hv/kernel options are you using here? Are you using "sync_console" when capturing serial console? Still hanging? Machine died. *shrug*. Probably can be closed unless it pops up somewhere else. |
