Description msiddiqu 2020-03-31 20:10:08 UTC
A vulnerability was found in sync debug fs driver in Kernel where there is a kernel pointer leak due to the usage of printf with %p. This could lead to local information disclosure with system execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.

Created kernel tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 1819435]

Comment 2 Justin M. Forbes 2020-04-01 15:35:51 UTC
This was fixed for fedora with the 4.15 stable kernel rebases.
