The crash seems to be fixed with a pull request: https://github.com/rhinstaller/anaconda/pull/2425 However, the installation with the fix is aborted a little later due to another error. journalctl from the installation with the fix
Hum, I wonder if that's the same bug we're seeing in F32? I reported it to Silverblue: https://github.com/fedora-silverblue/issue-tracker/issues/38 if so it looks like it may be fixed in the next composes... That one is definitely fixed in current F32, so I guess if you try the fix again with a newer Rawhide we can see... Btw. it is still failing with Fedora-Silverblue-ostree-x86_64-Rawhide-20200406.n.0.iso. You mean, after your patch for the crash, the install still fails? Huh. Must be a different bug from the one I pointed out, then. I'm not sure what, though. If your fix fixes the crash, though, let's go ahead and merge it and send it out, then we can investigate the other bug separately :) OK, so now I confirm the same as Vendula in the latest Rawhide: this crash is fixed, but install still fails, on the error Vendula posted in #c7. Let's close this bug and file a new one for that. |
