We would like the ability to hide glance images in OSP13, as managing old images is a big pain point.  We have identified the following code change:

And would like to request a backport of this to OSP13.

This would also require backporting https://review.opendev.org/#/c/578755/ .

I think we should not be backporting features.

@Greg: should this be an exception?

It does impact the DB schema (see the Glance patch in #1, not the glanceclient patch), so I think we should not backport this feature.

@Elf: I am going to close this bug, feel free to reopen if you feel this backport is of critical importance.
