Description D. Hugh Redelmeier 2006-02-22 19:51:21 UTC
Description of problem:
file:///usr/share/doc/system-config-printer-0.6.131.3/printconf-bugzilla.html
just says to submit bugs or enhancement requests to bugzilla.
I think that it would be worthwhile to mention that reports should include the
output of
  printconf-tui --Xexport
if applicable.
If there is data in that that should be kept private, that too should be
documented. In fact, it might be good if the command had a flag to ask for
censoring such output.

BTW, there is no manpage for printconf. Where is it documented? Is it just
another name for system-config-printer?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
  system-config-printer-0.6.131.3-1

Comment 1 Tim Waugh 2006-02-23 14:54:39 UTC
printconf is what system-config-printer used to be called.

Yes, it would be good to add that hint; thanks for the suggestion. It would
also be good to optionally hide private data.

This report targets the FC3 or FC4 products, which have now been EOL'd.

Could you please check that it still applies to a current Fedora release, and
either update the target product or close it ?

Thanks.

The printconf-tui command is no longer shipped.
