Description Pavel Moravec 2020-04-22 09:01:20 UTC
Description of problem:
RHEL8.3 should ship sos rebased to upstream version 3.9-1. That will match with RHEL7.9 and the latest upstream release before upstream refactorization in 4.0 (that would need more time for planning/testing/etc.

The rebase to 3.9-1 (from current downstream 3.8) is a smaller diff with no expected regressions.

Rationale for the rebase: any backport work will be much easier and "testing distance" between upstream and downstream will be smaller.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sos-3.8-*

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -q sos

Actual results:
sos-3.8-*

Expected results:
sos-3.9-* or higher
