Section 1.2.6 step 6 has an Important note saying:
"The storage size for storageDeviceSets must be less than or equal to the size of the raw block devices. You can set the value to 1 to ensure that this requirement is met." 
The last part is confusing and it says "You can set the value to 1 to ensure that this requirement is met." If it said something like, "You can set the value to 1 to use all available space on the disks," it'd be clearer.
