Description Anand Jambhulkar 2020-04-29 12:49:29 UTC
Description of problem:
----------------------

Clicking the "Revert" button in the "History" tab fails to revert the changes made to the template and restore the template to its original state.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
------------------------------------------------------------

Red Hat Satellite 6.6

How reproducible:
----------------

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
------------------

1. Clone kickstart_ifcfg_bonded_interface and save it.

2. Edit the template and add something, for example: <%# this is a commeent -%>

3. Click Submit to save the changes.

4. Open the template and go to History. It will show you there's an edit and you can click "show diff" to see the changes.

5. Click on "Revert" , you will see a popup window "You are about to override the editor content with a previous version, are you sure?". Click OK. It will redirect you again to the main "Template" tab but you will see that the template is not reverted, the test comment from 2. is still there.

Actual results:
--------------

The changes made to the template are still persistent even after clicking the "Revert" button in the "History" tab.

Expected results:
----------------

The template should change back to its original contents.
