I have not found out the cause of this yet, however anyway you can change this by:

* launching "$ lxappearance"
* Click "Other" tag
* toggle on "Show images on menus"
* Relaunch lxpanel by "$ lxpanelctl restart"

Hello Mamoru, thank you for the reply.

I have Fedora and LXDE installed on a second system running without any issues, so I took photos of the various lxappearance tabs, to ensure that the same settings are now on both systems.

On the system where the icons did not appear, there were additional anomalies that I discovered: On the "Widget" tab, the Font was set to Sans 10 (versus 11). On the "Font" tab, "Sub-pixel genoetry" was blank (versus "None"). Then on the "Other" tab, both "Show images on buttons" and "Show images in menus" were not toggled.

After changing all of these settings and restarting the panel, the icons then appeared on the menus.

Although I do not know why the upgrade from 31 to 32, would have changed all of those settings and only on one system, not both.

As for me there was no issues after updating from 31 to 32 (maybe because of different icon pack). But I have this issues after installing LXDE Spin on virtual machine. So bug or some issue is there.

Although I have not figured out what changed between F-31 and F-32 yet, for now I will add some workaround explicitly.
