Description of problem:

Expose some OVN/OVS metrics to be captured by Prometheus

Some ideas:
- Number of logical switches
- Number of flows
- RAFT information

Additionally capture the sbdb/nbdb election metrics...  capture how often leader elections happen between the masters.

Hi, I'm checking if this issue is still relevant. It's been a couple of years since it was opened, and the ecosystem with OVN and OCP has changed quite a bit during that time. I know there are no prometheus-specific things in OVN itself, but I wasn't sure whether OCP had implemented a way to expose that information or if some other method had been devised. Thanks.

I am closing this issue. There is a new effort underway between the OVN team and Prometheus team to get data exported. The new effort supersedes this old issue.
