This is actually an issue with python3-ee because the auto provides/requires don't appear to be reporting the right version:

$ rpm -qP python3-ee
python-ee = 7.0.1-1.fc32
python3-ee = 7.0.1-1.fc32
python3.8dist(pyee) = 0
python3dist(pyee) = 0

Yeah, I think vcversion patch is not complete or has some problems in pyee.
