Description Igor Raits 2020-05-05 06:14:59 UTC
Hello,

Your package (dynafed) Fails To Install in Fedora 33:

---
can't install dynafed-1.5.1-1.fc32.x86_64:
  - nothing provides libprotobuf.so.17()(64bit) needed by dynafed-1.5.1-1.fc32.x86_64
---

According to a policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks if you won't reply to this bug.

Thanks!

Hello,

This is the second reminder (step 4 from https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/#_package_removal_for_long_standing_ftbfs_and_fti_bugs).

If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. If you don't have time to maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent packages realize the problem.

Comment 4 Fedora Admin user for bugzilla script actions 2020-07-01 14:51:10 UTC
This package has changed maintainer in the Fedora.
Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

Comment 5 oliver.keeble 2020-07-01 15:54:47 UTC
I guess this is waiting behind a resolution to Bug 1799295 (FTBFS).
I will send the upstream a reminder.

Comment 6 Igor Raits 2020-07-02 06:48:16 UTC
This package has been orphaned.

You can pick it up at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/dynafed by clicking button "Take". If nobody picks it up, it will be retired and removed from a distribution.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.

Package retired from rawhide. There will be no further updates to Fedora.
Please advise if there's a better way to tidy this up.
Thanks.
