Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Sreenath G 2020-05-07 12:53:35 UTC
Description of problem:

In the RHEL-8.2.1 compose [1] , there are unresolved dependencies related to corosync package and it prevents installation of pcs package.

 package: pcs-0.10.4-6.el8.x86_64 from RHEL-8.2.1-20200507.n.0-repoclosure-HighAvailability.x86_64

     (libknet1-plugins-all if corosync)
     (corosync >= 2.99 if pacemaker)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
corosync-3.0.3-2.el8

How reproducible:
While doing RHEL-8.2.1 nightly compose

Comment 1 Jan Friesse 2020-05-07 15:11:47 UTC
Not sure what to do with this one. As can be seen, http://download-node-02.eng.bos.redhat.com/rhel-8/nightly/RHEL-8/RHEL-8.2.1-20200507.n.0/compose/HighAvailability/x86_64/os/Packages/ libknet1-plugins-all package exists. I think this is some problem during sync. Could you please give it a retry?

Comment 2 Jan Friesse 2020-05-07 15:14:14 UTC
Also moving to releng because there is really nothing we can do with this problem on corosync side.

Hi,

    We need to relook in to this, as a bug [1] has been reported from production.

Comment 9 Sreenath G 2020-09-22 15:00:39 UTC
The problem with RHGS ISO compose is that, the automatic depsolving for pcs package is not happening. As mentioned in Comment 8 , if the fix for this bug is going to be disabling the repoclosure log, then it won't help the depsolving problem for RHEL-HA packages in RHGS ISO compose.
