Description David Cantrell 2006-03-01 18:48:13 UTC
setxkbmap cannot find rules file: /usr/share/X11/xkb/rules/xorg.lst

This is on last night's rawhide build. I don't know what should be creating
xorg.lst, but it's probably causing issues for keymaps. I think this should be
resolved before FC5 freeze.

Comment 1 Mike A. Harris 2006-03-01 19:54:30 UTC
Thanks for the report. Yep, slight regression in the changeover from
Xorg's xkbdata to the xkeyboard-config xkbdata done in release -5.

Backward compat symlinks were inadvertently left off in the build, but are
restored in -6 release now. That should resolve the problem.

Thanks again.

Fixed in 1.0.1-6 in rawhide.

Please test:

xorg-x11-xkbdata-1.0.1-6 is now available for download via ftp at the following
URL: ftp://people.redhat.com/mharris/testing/unstable

Comment 3 David Cantrell 2006-03-01 20:07:47 UTC
Yeah, 1.0.1-6 works fine. Thanks again. Of course, after I'd posted the bug, I
remembered your email discussing the keyboard change. Figured you were probably
on top of things.
