Description of problem:
Etcd role in latest openshift-ansible-3.11.216-1 still using etcd version 3.2.26, while etcd 3.2.28 is released.

# git status

...

# grep -i r_etcd_default_version: roles/etcd/defaults/main.yaml
r_etcd_default_version: "3.2.26"

Comment 3 gabisoft 2020-05-18 15:22:18 UTC
I assume this gets a very high priority, as the bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1799006 causes data loss!

Comment 4 Suresh Kolichala 2020-05-20 14:56:54 UTC
Yes. 3.2.28 is already included in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1828433. See comment#1:

The etcd-3.2.28-1.el7_8 package has now been shipped via RHEL 7 Extras
(https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2020:2115). The updated rhel7/etcd
container image should be shipped by May 19
(https://errata.devel.redhat.com/errata/details/54045). After that openshift
just needs to be patched to use/update to the new 3.2.28-tagged image.
